COUPLES COUNSELLING

Find Your Way Back to Each Other.

Our closest relationships can be a source of connection and comfort, but they can also be where we feel most hurt, misunderstood, or alone. When you find yourselves caught in the same conflicts or growing further apart, it can be difficult to know how to change things on your own.

Couples counselling can offer support when the relationship you care about isn’t feeling the way you want it to. Whether you’re navigating ongoing conflict, rebuilding trust after a difficult experience, feeling disconnected, or simply wanting to strengthen your relationship, you don’t have to wait until things reach a breaking point to seek support.

Couples counselling can support you with:

⬥ Communication difficulties

⬥ Long-standing conflict and arguments
⬥ Feeling disconnected or misunderstood
⬥ Infidelity and rebuilding trust after betrayal
⬥ Emotional and physical intimacy
⬥ Attachment and relationship patterns
⬥ Expressing needs and setting boundaries
⬥ Navigating major life changes together
⬥ Strengthening emotional connection and intimacy

How We’ll Work Together

When couples become stuck in conflict, it can be easy to start seeing each other as the problem. My role is to help you step back from the conflict and begin to understand the patterns you get caught in, while making space for both of your experiences.

Together, we’ll slow things down and look at what happens in the moments when communication breaks down or you lose connection with one another. I’ll help you have the conversations that can be difficult to navigate on your own and begin finding new ways of responding and connecting to one another.

What to Expect

Couples counselling begins with an assessment process that helps me develop a fuller understanding of your relationship and how best to support you both.

01

Together

Initial joint session

We'll start with an initial session together, where we'll explore what brings you to therapy.

02

Individually

A private session with each parnter

Following this, I'll meet with each partner individually to explore personal experiences, relationship history, and any concerns that may be difficult to discuss together.

03

Coming Together

Feedback, shared goals, and next steps

Following these initial sessions, we'll come together to discuss my overall assessment, identify shared goals, and determine the next steps for counselling.
