INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING

A Safe Space to Slow Down
and Reconnect.
There are many reasons people seek individual counselling. Life can feel overwhelming and complicated at times, and you may be facing a particular situation or experience that you want support with. Other times, you might not be able to point to one specific thing; you just know that something doesn’t feel right or that you want things to be different.
Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, carrying a lot of stress, or noticing the same frustrating patterns showing up in your life and relationships. You may know that something needs to change while feeling unsure of where to begin.
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from counselling. Our sessions offer a low-pressure space to work through what you’re facing, understand yourself better, and begin making changes at a pace that feels right for you.

How We’ll Work Together
Our sessions are a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly about what you are experiencing without judgement. Together, we’ll take the time to understand your current challenges and explore the patterns that may be shaping how you feel and respond.
The goal of therapy isn't to fix what is broken or change who you are. Many of the ways you've learned to navigate life developed in response to your experiences. Together, we'll explore these experiences, understand your emotional responses, and approach them with kindness and curiosity rather than criticism.
Depending on what feels supportive for you, our sessions may involve talking through your experiences as well as paying attention to emotions and physical responses as they come up. We’ll work collaboratively, and you’ll always have a say in what we explore and how we approach it.
Ready to take the next step?
If something in your life isn’t feeling quite right, counselling can be a place to explore it.
